The Chesnut Deer hunting spot, isn't it beautiful! This hole has provided a lot of big deer over the years, this year...was a little different year as we didn't see hardly any deer...Jason actually didn't see anything but the mighty hunter Rick saw two deer and shot one of them...way to go Rick!!! Now your boys are proud to hunt with their dad. hehe.

The morning was very cold as Matthew's face buried in his jacket proves. Rick and the boys wanted to hang with Jason as he has had the hunting luck the last few years but it proved to be in vain as Jason's spot didn't have any deer in it this year.
Rick's Trophy! Way to go Rick, you now have the Chesnut bragging rights... for the next year anyways. Rick has had the success lately as he has shot the last elk and the last deer, can we consider this a dynasty...probably not, but at least he has two sons that look at him in awe now. Hey Jason, you better get serious here or Rick is going to take your place as the mighty hunter.
Kaycee and Jason went hunting Monday afternoon and the only thing they came across was this huge elk rub. Taller then Kaycee, must have been a big bull. Kaycee had a great time hunting with her dad and Jason loved having his buddy with him.

Loved these pictures, they are absolutely beautiful. Way to go, Rick!! Our mighty hunters bringing home the meat, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Even though they about froze to death. Good luck this week!!
